Fear not, dear anon. I’m very confident that Sasuke will get a wonderful, fulfilling ending. :) I can’t see Kishimoto killing him off— redemption and growth are such integral parts of the series, and I have a feeling that things will be rocky for Sasuke as the manga comes to a close, but it will ultimately be alright. After all, not only would it be pretty illogical for Kishimoto to end Sasuke’s story on such a negative note when he’s put so much energy into re-enforcing the idea that no one is beyond saving, but Sasuke’s death would also completely illegitimize Naruto’s arc as well, seeing as the majority of his development has come from his steadfast belief that retrieving Sasuke is possible. In fact, I envision Sasuke learning to break free from all of the obligation and pain that has come with bearing the Uchiha name and, finally, starting to live for himself and not just the ghosts of his family. It will take some doing, and it won’t be a fairytale ending by any means, but I’m sure it will be a redemptive one for good ol’ Sauce. *hug* Don’t worry.
